| Rocco Basciano was
born in Noepoli, in the province of Potenza, in 1948. Since 1966 he moved
to Milan and now has the study in Via Cascina Barocco 10 in Milan, where
also resides the association Arte Barocco. Registered on the Pero Cultural Association Art and Creativity which is partner and founder. In the 2001 is registered on the Italian Academy. In 1999 thanks to high merits in the fields of the arts is rewarded with the honorary title of Art Master of Borgo di Muggiano. Knowed to have painted the striking and characteristic Italy's sea grottos. Honours: 1986 Named Cavaliere di Sant’Agata di Paternò; 1999 Named Art Master of “Borgo di Muggiano” for the landscape executed with the technique of watercolor; 2000 Member of the Third Millennium Italian Academy; Founder partner of the Pero Cultural Association Art and Creativity; Academic with gold medal, Salsomaggiore Terme; Academic of the Tiberina Academy, Roma; Academic of honour of Fiorino, Prato; Bedriacense Academic and member of the European Academy; Academic of honour of S.Marco, Portici (Naples); 1983 Diploma of honour for international order of the volunteers for the peace, Salsomaggiore Terme. |
